Chenille GULDA is an elegant chenille fabric of permanently flame retardant Trevira CS material with a width of 3 meters.
Chenille fabric has a pile similar to velour except it is on both sides and it exhibits the linear creases characteristic of chenille fabrics.
Chenille is ideal for use as
•Curtains visible from both sides
• Decorative curtains in hotels, lobbies, schools and other public buildings.

Please note that as a chenille fabric, Chenille GULDA exhibits the typical linear direction of the pile structure in the weft direction (rotated 90° to the warp direction).
If the fabric is hung from the side (in the weft direction), it will result in a significantly different visual impression than if it is hung from the top (in the warp direction)!

1. Washing properties of flame retardant materials
Trevira CS and Polyester FR fibre-based material can be washed according to the care label, without loss of fire retardant characteristics.
2. Loss of flame retardant characteristics due to care products
The use of fibre-affine care products such as fabric conditioners (e.g. Silan) can cause the loss of the material’s flame retardant characteristics!
3. Loss of flame retardant characteristics due to contamination
Soiling or applying foreign substances (e.g. painting/printing) to the fabric can cause the loss of the material’s flame retardant characteristics!
4. Regular inspection of flame retardant characteristics
Therefore, please make sure you ask an expert to regularly check the cloth’s flame retardant characteristics.
